Scope: GMD were approached with an existing design for a dryer unit, used in the production of medical test tubes. A substance is placed inside the test tubes for use by the end user, however it needs to be dried and solidified to ease with transportation. The customer had drawings of an existing unit but were unhappy with the function and durability. GMD were tasked with improving upon the design, and then manufacturing multiple new units. Those units functioned exactly as intended, are far more durable, and are still in production nearly 10 years later.
