Scope: GMD extensively worked alongside the customer to reverse engineer an existing set of large seawater debris screen filters using a combination of the existing screens (in extremely poor and degraded condition) and very basic drawings of the original parts (although not fully complete). GMD re-designed and fabricated two complete 662kg 3250mm x 2380mm assemblies from 316 stainless steel and delivered a solution for this critical equipment demand both in terms of application and delivery.
