Formula One in Schools World Championship
Team Pulse from Devonport High School for Boys were crowned as World champions of the Formula of the Formula One is Schools competition.
With the generous support of GMD Eurotool the team designed and manufactured a Carbon Dioxide powered model Formula 1 car using Computer Aided Design. The car rocketed down the 20 metre straight track in a time of 1.064 seconds to win the team the Fastest Car Award, together with an impressive technical display and technical presentation.
